Netherlands Embassy celebrated the King’s Day

On April 27 Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia organized event on the occasion of the King’s Day. It was attended by Georgia's Deputy Foreign Minister David Dondua. 

David Dondua and Dutch Ambassador to Georgia Johannes Douma spoke before the audience attending the event.

The Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister congratulated the Dutch people on the day of national unity and wished them peace and prosperity. According to David Dondua, Georgia appreciates the support that the Netherlands renders in various bilateral and multilateral formats.

"Couple of days ago we celebrated 25th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. I am delighted to underscore, that during the last decades our bilateral cooperation has considerably progressed. Thanks to the efforts of our Embassies, ties between our states have become closer and gained further impetus.

We believe that throughout the support of our partners, the Netherlands among them, the path of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration that Georgia irreversibly pursues will finally bring a sustainable security and prosperity to our country and citizens. On our way towards Europe, we equally spare no efforts and seek to establish as close relations as possible with the European states.
Georgia and the Netherlands share joint vision for the regional peace and stability. Underlining the importance of the continuation of the EU Monitoring Mission - the only international mission assessing situation on the ground, I would like to hail the Dutch engagement in the EUMM.
Dear Ambassador, Let me once again congratulate you on this very special day and wish peace, welfare and prosperity to the Dutch nation” – David Dondua said speaking before the audience.

The event organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia was attended by foreign diplomats accredited to Georgia, members of the executive and legislative branches of the government, cultural and art workers and priests.
