The Embassy of Japan in Tbilisi reports that on April 29, 2017, the Government of Japan has announced the recipients of Japan Imperial Decorations for spring 2017. From Georgia, Ms. Nino Ananiashvili, Ballet Artistic Director at Z. Paliashvili Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater, has been named to receive the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon.
Ms. Nino Ananiashvili is awarded the Decoration for her significant contribution to strengthening cultural exchange between Japan and Georgia as well as developing Japanese ballet society through long-term and various activities dedicated to Japan.
